Lina writes a dissertation entitled ‘Propedeutic Contribution to the Teaching of the Theory of Architecture’ for the public examination for the post of Chair in Theory of Architecture at FAU USP.

Following the demolition of the Trianon, Lina begins work on the second MASP (Museu de Arte de São Paulo) designed for the plot (inaugurated in 1968).

Lina competes for a furniture design tender in Cantu, Italy. She designs Dr Mattos Felloni’s surgery in São Paulo and produces studies for a beach house (Casa de Praia).

Lucio Costa wins the competition to design Brasilia.
