Lina designs Valeria Piacentini Cirell’s house in São Paulo.

She travels to Salvador in April to give lectures at Bahia University’s School of Fine Arts, returning in August to set up the Course in Architecture and Urban Planning with architect Diogenes Rebouças. There, she designs the Casa do Chame-Chame (House of Nature) and the home of sculptor Mario Cravo. She also writes for Salvador’s daily newspaper Diário de Notícias, with a page entitled ‘Chronicles of art, history, costume, living culture. Architecture. Painting. Sculpture. Visual Arts.’

Architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha and John Gennaro win the national tender for the design of the sports gymnasium of Clube Atlético Paulistano (São Paulo Athletic Club).
